Distracted Driving Safety Campaign Underway in Toronto

The Toronto Police force will be patrolling the roads and watching for distracted drivers this week.

That means they will be targeting drivers who are operating their vehicle dangerously while using their cell phones.

The “Text or Call Could End It All” safety campaign will be underway till Sunday, February 21^st and according to police, they will be using cruisers that are marked or unmarked in an effort to make the campaign more effective.

95,000 charges have been laid in connection to distracted driving since 2011.
