Bouncer injured in overnight shooting at King West nightclub in Toronto

TORONTO — Police say two people have been hurt in an early morning shooting at a downtown Toronto club.

Investigators say both have been taken to hospital, and one is considered a suspect.

They say more than a hundred people were inside the COBRA nightclub at the time of the shooting. One of the injured is a bouncer at the club, CBC reported.

Meanwhile, police continue to investigate a shooting in the city’s northeast that left a man with critical head injuries.

Police say the man was shot in the head and shoulder around 7 p.m. Thursday night in a parking garage near Sheppard Avenue East and Don Mills Road.

He remains in hospital after undergoing emergency surgery.
